Varices (in a broad sense) appear due to the enlargement of the superficial veins at legs level (other types of varices have also been described in other regions: esophagus – esophageal varices or rectus – hemorrhoids), as a result of an increase in blood pressure subsequent to the damage of the valves, which facilitate the unidirectional blood flow. Sometimes the varices are caused by the thinning of the venous wall or by some valvular defects.

As manifestations, the variceal disease can be asymptomatic and is recognized only by the presence of dilated venous cordons, situated under the skin.

HILOVARIL is recommended in the treatment of varicose syndrome, of peripheral venous insufficiency and of superficial periphlebitis and for the stimulation of peripheral blood flow, in myalgia and posttraumatic edema. The product treats different symptoms of the variceal disease: pain, burning or weight sensation at leg level, discomfort which is amplified after long periods of time of standing or sitting. It also counteracts the local inflammation at leg and ankle level and also the pruritus which appears on the skin found over the varices. HILOVARIL, cream can also be used in complications of the varices: leg edema (as a result of fluid accumulation at leg level), inflammation and pain at leg level (as a result of prolonged standing or sitting), trophical tegumentary disorders which appear after blood stasis (change in the color of the teguments), dry or pruritic skin, with descuamation of the superficial layers.

Through the active principles, Hilovaril, cream energetically treats the edema and pain at leg level, so that the sensation of heavy and tired legs disappears and it restores the relief and freshness sensation.

The elements which are active components of the Hilovaril cream are the hellebore extract (Helleborus purpurascens), sea buckthorn oil, troxerutin, rosmarin oil, ginger oil, B2 vitamin and a series of excipients.
