Dermatrofin is a dermatological unguent (skin cream) created for the treatment of burns and other skin wounds and scars. It is made with natural extracts such as Sunflower, Pot Marigold and Beeswax.

Ingredients: Helianthus Oleum (Sunflower) , Cera Alba (Beeswax), Calendula Officinalis (Pot Marigold), Imidazolidinyl Urea, tocopheryl Acetate.

Action: Dermatrofin stimulates the epithelialization process (skin regeneration) of burns or skin lesions / wounds – whether they be traumatic or surgical. The epithelialization process includes two mechanisms – the proliferation of conjunctive tissue and the formation of epithelial cells at the lesion.

The formation of epithelial cells (skin cells) begins either from the edges of the wound towards the center (gradually) or from the center, creating small “islands” from the derma and covering the entirety of the wound / lesion area. Both processes of skin tissue regeneration are stimulated by Dermatrofin.

Indications: Dermatrofin – unguent is used in the treatment of skin lesions or wounds resulting from burns in the 1st, 2nd and to a certain extend, 3rd degree. For example, sun burns (1st degree) sufferers would benefit by using Dermatrofin. Furthermore, Dermatrofin is used in treating scars, or scar formation, as it helps create a quick skin reparation and helps heal scars or deep derma wounds quickly.
